Project Details

The New Orleans Public Service, Inc. (NOPSI) Building is located in New Orleans’ Lower Central Business District Historic District. It is a Neo-Classical building designed by Favrot & Livaudais and constructed in 1927. The building had been vacant since 1986. The building and adjoining substation were rehabilitated as a hotel by Building & Land Technology, Inc. The rehabilitation of this 217 room hotel utilized the Louisiana Historic Rehabilitation Commercial Tax Credit and received a 2018 Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation from the Louisiana Landmarks Society.
