This month’s Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits Tool Box article celebrates Sudha Tokala, a pharmaceutical scientist who pivoted to real estate development and is bringing a brand-new medical college and culinary institute to downtown Wichita. With the help of HTCs, Tokala is rehabilitating numerous historic buildings, including former department stores, a lodge, and office buildings into a campus in the middle of downtown for the Kansas Health Science University/Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the National Institute for Culinary and Hospitality Education.
