Project Details

Heritage Consulting Group worked with Eastcastle Place to secure historic tax credit approvals, making possible the rehabilitation of the former Milwaukee Protestant Home for the Aged in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The complex is composed of two buildings. The original 1892 building was expanded with five additions constructed between 1897 and 2006.  In 1963, the Bradford Terrace building was constructed and was also later expanded. The complex consists of 119,000 square feet with living units, community spaces, dining halls, and rooms for occupational and aquatic therapy. This historic complex is one of Milwaukee’s oldest and continually operating senior housing facilities.

Heritage listed the building in the National Register of Historic Places and secured approvals for state historic tax credits.
