Project Details

Heritage worked with RUPCO to secure historic tax credit approvals, making possible the rehabilitation of the historic Kingston City Almshouse, an Italianate landmark that was built in 1874. Rebranded Landmark Place, this 14-acre campus provides affordable housing with supportive services for seniors in the historic landmark building, its historic outbuildings, and in adjacent new construction that was added to the site.

Heritage listed the building in the National Register of Historic Places and obtained state and federal historic tax credit approvals.
