Lane Hotel
Project Details
The 1929 Spanish Colonial Revival-style Lane Hotel was transformed into Haas Hall Academy, a public charter school. As part of the rehabilitation, the masonry, entrance plaza and distinctive tile roof were restored. Historic storefronts were retained and historically-appropriate replacement windows were installed. The ornate entrance lobby, with its quarry tile floors and carved woodwork, was fully restored and serves as the main entrance to the school. Heritage secured state and federal historic tax credit approvals for the project.
Incentives Utilized:
- Federal Historic Tax Credits
- Arkansas State Historic Tax Credits (Arkansas Historic Rehabilitation Income Tax Credit Program)
