Nugent Senior Apartments
The Nugent Senior Apartments is located in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia and was built by philanthropist, George Nugent, as a retirement home for Baptist ministers. Designed in the Chateauesque style by architect J. Franklin Stuckert, the ornate exterior features projecting bays, tall brick chimneys and clay tile roofing. The rehabilitation converted the building into 26 apartments with an addition constructed to accommodate another 36 apartments.
