Project Details
The rehabilitation of the Colt Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Company complex into Colt Gateway was a decade-long project that transformed a unique 17-acre campus of buildings for a multitude of uses including apartments, offices and a magnet school. With its iconic blue dome, Colt Gateway is one of the most visible properties in the Hartford skyline and its rebirth represents the culmination of efforts to transform the formerly vacant site into an authentic industrial renovation. Heritage successfully secured approvals for state and federal historic tax credits for this landmark site.
